Born and raised in Turkey, Songül Cabacı Güner grew up deeply connected to the natural rhythm of the earth. Her early fascination with fabrics evolved into a lifelong passion for fashion as a powerful form of self-expression. However, as she navigated her career, she realized that the traditional fashion industry often conflicted with her first love and true home: nature. After 15 years in the fashion industry, inspired by her dedication to yoga and mindfulness, she set out to create garments that were not only beautiful but also kind to the planet. Together with her life partner, Hakan, she founded Studio Laloba.

Established in 2019, Studio Laloba was built upon an unwavering sustainable mission. Driven by the desire to minimize—and ultimately reverse—fashion’s impact on our environment, we are dedicated to sourcing and designing with natural, sustainable fabrics crafted by local artisans. Our collections reflect a mindful, minimalist approach to dressing, standing out with simple, effortlessly chic designs that celebrate the body's freedom of movement.
